What are “Vital Groups”?

Vital Groups are diverse small groups of 8-12 people that meet in homes Thursday evenings twice a month.  They provide spiritual formation as we read and reflect on God's word to us through Scripture and they deepen our connection to each other as we share meals, listen, laugh, and pray together. We get to come as we are and practice receiving and extending the beautiful grace of our God. These are spaces where we experience the abundant life of God through His gifts of community. Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit are ever and always in joyful communion and we are invited into that vital interconnectedness - with God and with each other. Your presence is a gift, and we hope you'll join us!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Vital Groups are relaxed, welcoming spaces to grow in faith and friendship. We begin informally at 6:00pm with dinner and time to hang out, followed by structured group time from 7:00–8:30pm. Each evening includes icebreakers, a discussion rooted in Scripture, and time for prayer. When Spanish speakers are present, translator apps are used as needed to make sure everyone feels included.

  • Everyone is welcome—regardless of your faith background or church experience. Whether you’re curious about the Christian faith or looking to grow in a vibrant, intentional community, Vital Groups are a great place to start. Come as you are!

  • Each group is a joyful mix of people from different life stages and schedules—parents, singles, teachers, night-shift workers, families with young kids, and more. Groups are gracious with one another’s rhythms, doing their best to be present and connected even when schedules differ.
